As one of the oldest courses in Portugal, this course has earned an almost legendary status among international golfers visiting the area. It hosted the Portuguese Open for almost 20 years and still has its old competitive feel.
Although a short course it is still has a diverse range of holes and allows you to focus on accuracy over distance. The course is owned by the Hotel Palácio and they have redesigned several holes in recent years, further improving the course.
The course also benefits from the local Mediterranean microclimate meaning that it is a course that can be played all year round. If you want to appreciate some of the History of golf in the area then this is definitely the place to start.
