This club has a real history and is one of the oldest in Portugal. You can see why when you get there, the area provides the perfect terrain for a mountain golf course. The layout of the course is quite varied as it was constructed in parts with the 18th hole finished in 1992.
The most distinctive feature of the course is that no two holes are the same; it offers so many different styles and will always tax your imagination. It is quite a challenging course with the stream that meanders down the valley playing a part in at least half of the holes.
This course would suit those looking for something genuinely rugged and requiring real concentration and if you make the effort, this is one of those courses that provides a true golfing experience.
