Golfe do Montado

Near the castle of Pamela and surrounded by vineyards this course was completely redesigned in 2005 by Jorge Santana da Silva. The redesign has revitalised the course and now as well as the attractive scenery it is a great place to play golf.

He designed the course to maske people think carefully about their shot selection and it will reward those who take some time. It  is quite undulating and the raised greens throughout make accurate approach shots important.

The centrepiece is definitely the Par 3 18th, where the green is on an island in the lake. The area is also still developing and the recently opened hotel provides comfortable accommodation for short golf breaks away from the city.
