This course presents an unusual combination of links and woodland with amazing views over the Atlantic. Although the course has a whole variety of holes and styles you never loose the sense of flow between them, all of the transitions seem so natural.
This is one of the most westerly courses in Europe and also one of the best cared for with excellent quality fairways and greens throughout, the course has also been constructed with proper environmental sensitivity meaning that the course is connected to the land.
The most memorable features of the course are the greens which are fast and undulating, designed to mislead even the best putters. Even though the course is a new one it has quickly established itself as a top location hosting rounds of the European Tour in 2005 and 2007.
