Golf Portugal is pleased to announce that with their new website comes an online green fee booking system. Golfers who may have already booked their accommodation and are not planning to purchase a full golf package on their Portugal golf holiday can now book green fees at all courses in the Algarve and Lisbon.
The booking system is very simple. Select the desired courses and the date you wish to play them and make your booking. You will see the total that you will be required to pay as you make your selection. Finally all you have to do, having made your choices, is to await confirmation from Tee Times Portugal.
Obviously the further ahead the green fees are booked the more chance there is of the desired courses being available and also with the tee times of your preference.
Golf Portugal is also operating an online car hire reservation system. Golfers, again not purchasing a full Portugal golf package, can easily purchase a hire car online by selecting the “car hire” page on the new Golf Portugal web site. The booking is very easy to make and confirmation will be sent through from the Lisbon, Algarve or Porto offices depending on your destination.
One important piece of information for our customers is that there is no extra charge for hiring an Auto Jardim vehicle in Lisbon and actually dropping it off in the Algarve. This may influence golfers who may be planning a two centre Portugal golf break ie Lisbon or Porto and the Algarve. Please be aware that the drink/drive tolerances are less in Portugal than in the UK.
Finally, Golf Portugal can organise transfers from any of their destinations for those of you who prefer not to hire a vehicle and drive. By simply requesting transfer prices when requesting a quote we will cost the trip with this in mind. Transfers can be arranged to and from airports ,hotels and golf courses leaving golfers to enjoy their Portugal golf break to the absolute max, please enjoy!!
