Alex Cejka lines up a shot
Alex Cejka of Germany birdied four out of previous 7 holes to take hold of one shoot lead in the opening round of Heritage Classic held in Hilton Head Island of South Carolina last Thursday.
Playing in his first major PGA Tour Title, the 38 year old player sank lengthy putts on his play to 7 under par 64 at golf course Harbour Town Golf Links. He holed out 15 feet at 13th, 20 feet at 12th, 15 ft at 15th and 45 ft at 17th to end the day while playing with Lee Janzen, former twice US Open Champion.
Trevor, South African golfer and winner of last year’s US Masters with 7 birdied 66 while Ted Purdy and Brian Gay, both American golfer returned 76s.
