24th April, 2009- Houston, Jerry Kelly of America birdied 3 of last 5 holes to get a one shot lead in New Orleans Classic in Avondale of Lousiana in second round on Friday.
Kelly shot 6 under par 66 at TPC Louisiana to take him to the position to get the title of PGA Major Tour.
The Wisconsin professional signed off stormy conditions by controlling the back 9 in a dazzling 4 under 32 to score a 10 under tot up of 134.
Though the wind motivated on back 9, he mixed out 5 birdies with one bogey at sixteenth to finish the game at the end of day.
He said, “I am really happy and very comfortable with the swing, I chipped well, putted well and drove the ball pretty well.”
