Retief Goosen
Retief Goosen of South Africa recorded an overall win of Tampa Bay championship from American golfers, Charles Howell III and Brett Quigley by a single stroke on Sunday. Goosen has not won any PGA Tour since 2005. He recorded one under round to seventy to finish 8 under. Goosen, aged about 40 years, made his beginning with a bogey on four second; however he finished his game on even par.
South African golfer was needed to hit the stroke from about five feet to prevent tie up with Howell and Quigley and finally he rose up as winner of entire championship.
In his conversation with reporters, he said “I got win in South Africa, in Malaysia, although they all were not big events, I have defeated some renowned players.” He further added, “Its all because of trying continuously, it really feels great to be on the top position, I really enjoyed that last stroke”.
