Paul Goydos, American Golfer, trounced the opening bogey with 6 birdies to score a 5 under 65 and take 3 stroke after first two rounds of Texas Open at San Antonio on Friday.
Paul whose opening score of 63 tied him with Justin Leonard, three time winner of the event stood at twelve par under par 128 at Resort House of La Cantera Golf Club.
“Another good day”, stated Goydos after grabbing his biggest lead at the ending of round in the career start of 416.
“I really only had one mediocre shot all day, and that was on the first hole. I made first bogey and after that I played reasonably well”.
Lenard tied for 2nd place on 131, after 68, fellow American golfer Ted Purdy (67), John Malinger (64), Scott Sterling (63) and Mathias Gronberg of Sweden (65).
