Set amidst an Orangery, the new Laranjal golf course opens on the 16th of February 2009. This well defined course boasts the same high standards set by Quinta do Lago North and South reports Golf Portugal.
Set amongst umbrella pines, cork oaks and orange trees this par 72 courses stretches 6500 metres from the back tees and has fabulous views en route. The course has several natural water features including 5 well positioned lakes. Anyone organising a golf portugal holiday will find this course a must during their golf break.
This newest of courses was designed by Jorge Santana da Silva and has Creeping Bengrass Penn A4 on the greens and Bermuda 419 on tees, fairway and rough. It was designed to ease the congestion on the nieghbouring courses of Quinta do Lago north and south and will help with the maintanence work being carried out on these two courses.
