England’s Oliver Wilson squandered his chances of a win after he kicked a double bogey on 18th hole at WGC CA championship last Thursday. It left him with a first round of 67, two shots behind Retief Goosen, Praya Marksaeng and Jeey Milka. This trio recorded rounds of 65 on par 72 course in Doral, Wilson was really aggravated not to have united them as early pacesetters.
After making a blunder at final hole, Wilson remarked “It is really a tough hole and it is frustrating, I tried to hit a great drive but I suppose that was the toughest pin on green to be honest”.
Padraig Hamilton shares second position with Rod Pampling and Nick Watney after they recorded rounds of 66, while Tiger woods, ranked as the number one golf player was little submissive as he continued his reappearance after knee surgery.
