Los Angeles, Phil Mickelson, world renowned golfer has withdrawn his name from two golf events to be held at Dallas region. He has suspended playing golf on PGA Tour for an indefinite period after knowing the fact that his wife was suffering from cancer.
The cancer in Amy Mickelson, wife of Phil Mickelson was diagnosed after various tests, as told by T R Reinman, the manger of the golfer.
More tests are to be scheduled, though the treatment is expected to commence probably with in the time period of coming 2 weeks, as revealed by Reinman.
World’s number 2 golfer was to play the championship of Byron Nelson in Dallas commencing from Thursday and defend his event title at Colonial Invitational to be held in Fort Worth next week.
