Rhys Davies
Rhys Davies has recorded a wonderful hole-in-one at the Thailand open. The Bridgend player has continued to his form from the last Asian Tour after a magnificent record at the £ 350,000 Singha Thailand Open yesterday.
This former Walker Cup Man, aged just 23 years, holed a five iron for his first world-classic in paid ranks. Davis who enjoyed a spectacular win last year during the Asian tour with three top 10’s remarked ” I was nearly one over after 6 holes and was not getting that what was actually going on”.
“Then, I holed with the 5 iron that completely changed my deportment, I moved from there quickly and birdied the next three holes and holed it next time on par 3, eleven and then I missed one”.
“I kept moving and managed to birdie 15 and 18 coming in”. Now, Davis hopes to sustain his first professional victory and wants to continue further.
