Farmingdale, New York, Tiger Woods, World’s number one golf player is eagerly anticipating his comeback to Bethpage for US Open to be held next month, in a site where this world champion will be defending the title of US Open in successful and familiar surroundings.
Tiger got the title in the year of 2002 for the first time and returned to Long Island as a world champion after a dazzling 19 holes playoff victory over Rocca Mediate at another renowned public course known as Torrey Pines.
“It was really a great atmosphere when we played in the year 2002″, Tiger said to reporters in a conference call at Bethpage on Monday.
“The fans were truly into it, I suppose everyone was having a great time”
