Tiger Woods recorded a one and half points lead on the Isleworth club, but failed to put a stop Lake Nona claiming the Cup on Tuesday in Florida. The Number one golfer, looking for moving further ahead after Knee Surgery last summer, managed to tie at ninth position in WGC-CA championship held at Doral with a 3 par 69 round at Lake Nona club in the 3.5 million dollar charity match between the two clubs.
Woods ended in drawing his match with England’s Ian Poutter while playing fourball singles metal play and defeated Henrik Stenson who played for the Lake Nona Team.
The playing partner Charles Howell III of Tiger Woods also scored three under to halve the match with Poulter and beat Stevenson. Despite this, Lake Nona Team rose as victorious for second time in six year history.
