The golfing legend, Tiger Woods is all set to return to professional golf next week. The news came in an announcement on his website as if he was declaring the day of reckoning for golfers who had risen into the limelight in his absence.
Woods’ first tournament should be the Accenture Match Play Championship from the 23rd of February to the 1st of March where he will be defending his title as last years winner.
Its a long stretch since Woods’ last game back in June 2008 where he struggled through a serious injury to take home the US Open, sealing his 14th pro victory and totalling 65 career wins on the PGA.
Feelings in the golf world are mixed, some enthused that Tiger has returned, where some appear to be gruelling the thought once again returning to the shadows while Woods’ enjoys the focus of the golf world once again.
