Golf Portugal can reveal that the thrilling victory of Tiger Woods at Arnold Palmer Invitational attracted the highest ever TV rating for any golf Tournament since his win in US Open held last year, as revealed by Nielsen Media Research.
Tiger Woods, playing his 3rd Golf event since returning from his knee surgery scored five strokes to get a tremendous victory over his 66th Tour of PGA with birdie on last Sunday.
According to NBC news, the rating of Bay Hill tournament was about 23% up last year when golf champion won on 72nd hole with a birdie and it was smashed in the final rounds of British Open 2008 and PGA championship, both events were missed by Tiger due to reconstructive knee surgery.
