This is a modern resort hotel and is one of the most relaxing hotels in the Cascais area. It makes you feel although you are out in the countryside but only it is only 5 kilometres from the town centre. This means that you get the benefits of the rural setting with the convenience of the nearby town.
The resorts big selling point is the Quinta da Marinha golf course which has been carefully created to fit in with the landscape as well as providing an excellent round of golf. The hotel is smart and spacious and all of the rooms have a balcony with a view over the ocean or the impressive Sintra Mountains. The Five Pines restaurant is good and offers traditional Portuguese food as well as excellent local seafood.
As well as the golf, most people spend their time exploring the surrounding area. Sintra is especially worth a visit, its amazing architecture and history has recently earned it World Heritage Site status.
Cascais is also popular; it originally gained fame as one of the favourite holiday resorts for the Portuguese royal family, these days it is better known for the beaches water sports and varied restaurants and bars.
