Accommodation Information
This spacious town house is part of a small private condominium comprising of 4 privately owned townhouses. Situated in an elevated position with a fabulous view over the Obidos Lagoon.
The house is decorated with modern furnishings. The accommodation is spread over two floors being ideal for a couple or a group sleeping up to 8 people. Comprising of 1 twin bedroom on the ground floor, 1 twin and 1 double bedroom located on the upper floor. One of the main features of the house is a large private terrace with delightful views over the lagoon and surrounding countryside.
The mouth of the lagoon and the wide sandy beach of Foz do Arelho are a 10 minute walk away, with safe bathing for children in the lagoon. Foz do Arelho is a small old fishing village that is slowly becoming a popular holiday resort town due to the area's excellent bathing conditions. There is a good choice of restaurants, cafes and bars in the town and along the coastal road.
The town of Caldas da Rainha is a 10 minute drive from the house. The delightful old town of Obidos, which still stands within medieval walls dating back to the Moorish occupation, is about a 20 minute drive away. Lisbon town centre is about 85 kilometres away by motorway. Praia del Rey Golf course, within a 15 minute drive, is ranked no. 1 in Portugal by Peugeot's 2003 Guide and 13th best in Europe by Golf World.
